US forces bombed the Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan nuclear facilities at dawn on Sunday, a claim confirmed by Iranian officials.
Three senior Iranian officials, speaking on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly, said they believed US forces bombed Fordow and Natanz around 2:30 a.m. in Iran, according to the New York Times.
Bombing Iran's reactors
The Iranian Fars News Agency reported that residents of the city of Qom, near Fordow, heard loud explosions, while Iranian media confirmed that Iran had evacuated three nuclear sites some time ago.
The Qom province announced that part of the Fordow site had been attacked, according to the Iranian Tasnim News Agency.

It added that it would announce additional details later regarding the attack on Fordow, confirming that there is now a state of calm in the province.
An Iranian official told Fars News Agency that he witnessed attacks near Isfahan and Natanz.
America Enters the War
This came after US President Donald Trump announced, on the tenth day of the confrontation between Iran and Israel, his country's entry into the plan.

The White House chief confirmed that US warplanes had carried out a highly successful attack on Iran's three nuclear facilities, Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan.
He added, via Truth Social, that the warplanes were now outside Iranian airspace and were safely on their way back after dropping a large load of bombs on Fordow.
He also concluded his remarks by saying that no military force in the world could do what the US forces did, declaring, "The time for peace has come."
Trump: Fordow Site Is Over
He then reiterated that Fordow Site is over, emphasizing that Iran must agree to end the war now, adding that what happened was a historic moment for America, Israel, and the world.

A US official, for his part, reported that US B-2 bombers were used in the attacks on Iran's nuclear sites, according to Reuters.
B-52 bombers are known to be capable of carrying massive bombs, which experts say are ideal for attacking these sites.
In addition, Israeli media outlets published videos showing the targeted nuclear facilities having been previously bombed by Israel.
They confirmed that a phone call took place between Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
