For the first time.. Ukraine bombs the Russian super fighter
The Ukrainian Defense Intelligence Agency announced that Ukrainian forces hit a Russian fighter at an air base inside Russia, and showed satellite images that it said confirmed the strike.
In a post on Telegram, the agency did not specify how the Russian plane, a Su-57, was targeted, or which Ukrainian army unit carried out the strike.
Russian fighter shot down by a drone
A popular pro-war Russian military blogger, known as "Fighter Bomber", who focuses on air operations, confirmed that the report about targeting the fighter plane is correct, indicating that it was hit by a drone.
The Ukrainian Defense Intelligence Agency added that the plane was parked at an airport 589 kilometers from the front lines between Ukrainian and Russian forces in Ukraine.
Although the Ukrainian drone targeting the famous fighter while it was on the ground does not mean anything that detracts from its ability while it is in the air, the arrival of Ukrainian strikes to sensitive areas believed to be safe from targeting indicates a qualitative development in Ukrainian attacks inside Russian territory.
