Generally, according to Healthline, it is recommended to have regular checkups with your doctor as follows:

• Every one to three years, if you are under 45 and in good health.

• Once a year, once you reach 45.

• If you suffer from a chronic condition, such as diabetes or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), you should visit your doctor more frequently, regardless of age.

In addition to general checkups that include gender, such as lifestyle assessments, blood pressure, cholesterol, obesity, and allergies, there are gender-specific tests.

• Mammogram to screen for breast cancer, between ages 50 and 74.
