Video: Famous artist slaps a fan and angers the audience

Egyptian artist Amr Diab was subjected to a scathing attack due to a "slap" he gave to one of his fans, which came after two other incidents in which he acted inappropriately.

A video of Egyptian artist Amr Diab slapping one of his fans who tried to take a "selfie" during a wedding ceremony was circulated.

While Amr Diab was singing at the ceremony, one of the attendees approached him, holding his phone and asking him to stand with him to take the picture, so the sixty-year-old singer slapped the man hard in the face.

This lapse by Egyptian singer Amr Diab comes after he insulted his private driver and hit a sound engineer on stage, in two previous incidents that sparked controversy.

Amr Diab was subjected to a severe attack on social media on Saturday, as some accused him of "impoliteness", and some even described him as having reached a "state of dementia".
