After the US authorities revealed the identity of the person who attempted to assassinate former US President Donald Trump, his father came out with a comment on the incident that shocked the world.

According to the FBI, the person who attempted to assassinate was Thomas Matthew Crooks (20 years old), and he was killed immediately by Secret Service bullets after he shot Trump.

Crooks' father, Matthew Crooks (53 years old), refused to talk about his son, and told CNN that he is trying to find out what happened, and will speak to law enforcement authorities before talking about the horrific incident that shook the United States.

ABC reported that the weapon found at the rally site was legally purchased by the father of the person who attempted to assassinate him.

Dozens of law enforcement vehicles and a bomb squad were stationed in front of the house of the deceased accused hours after Trump was shot.

In addition, the Wall Street Journal reported that US authorities found explosive devices in the car of the person who attempted to assassinate former President Donald Trump.
