After the Al Udeid Air Base incidents
Just hours after Iran targeted Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, US President Donald Trump took the initiative to declare a ceasefire with Iran. However, the situation did not last long, as the agreement was violated in the morning.
US President Donald Trump said that both Israel and Iran had violated the ceasefire he had announced hours earlier, and that Israel should reroute its aircraft and avoid striking Tehran in response to the ballistic missile launches.
Israel Violates the Ceasefire
Speaking to reporters before leaving for the NATO summit in The Hague, Trump said that Israel "shot the bullet" immediately after agreeing to the agreement, adding, "They didn't have to... Now Israel is attacking Iran because of a missile that didn't land anywhere."

Shortly afterward, Trump tweeted that Israel should reroute its aircraft. Israel said it would "hit the heart of Tehran hard" after Iran launched ballistic missiles at Israel after the ceasefire began.
Israel must calm down
Donald Trump added: "I have to calm Israel down now. I'm going to see if I can stop them." He added: "Israel, don't drop those bombs. If you do, it's a major violation. Bring your pilots home now! Donald Trump, President of the United States," according to Truth Social.

Trump also "clearly angrily" criticized Israel for its strikes after announcing a ceasefire would begin in the coming hours, and is currently preparing to launch airstrikes in response to an Iranian missile fired after the truce went into effect.
Trump: I'm not happy with my Israel
"We have two countries that have been fighting so long and so hard that they don't know what they're doing," Trump told reporters.
He added that he believes Iran remains committed to peace: "I do. They violated the agreement, but Israel violated it, too." He added: "I'm not satisfied with Israel. As you know, when I say you have 12 hours, don't just say in the first hours that you're going to bomb them with everything you have. I'm not satisfied with them. I'm not satisfied with Iran either."
