The number of martyrs and wounded in the bombing of the Israeli occupation forces that targeted tents for the displaced in the Mawasi area west of Khan Yunis city in the southern Gaza Strip has risen to 360 Palestinians.

Palestinian medical sources reported that more than 71 martyrs and 289 injuries were recovered in a new massacre by the Israeli occupation against the displaced, noting that the occupation aircraft target anyone who tries to rescue the wounded, including paramedics and members of the civil defense.

The Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, stressed that the time has come to end the conflict in the Gaza Strip, and called on the parties to reach an agreement.

Guterres wrote on the “X” platform: “It is time to end the terrible war in the Gaza Strip, it is time for the parties to show political courage and political will to finally reach an agreement.”

Procrastination Policy

He added that this process must begin with an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and the unconditional release of all hostages.

US President Joe Biden announced the day before yesterday that Israel and Hamas had agreed to the framework of the agreement to cease fire in the Gaza Strip and exchange detainees.

Security sources reported that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu added new demands to the truce and hostage exchange agreement that will complicate or even frustrate the negotiations.

Hamas accused Netanyahu of procrastination and said in a statement: “The occupation continues its policy of procrastination to gain time in order to thwart this round of negotiations, as it did in previous rounds.”
